Broken Hill City Council

Council business & meeting papers

Council is committed to keeping the community informed.

Council agendas are made publically available as soon as is possible and are usually uploaded on to Council's website the Friday prior to the Council meeting.

Minutes from the previous Council meeting are also made publically available as soon as is possible after they have been endorsed.

Agendas and minutes can also be viewed at the City Library or at Council's Administrative Centre.

Members of the public attending Council Meetings have an opportunity to address Council by way of a Public Forum Session.  Two Public Forum Sessions of fifteen minutes are held during each Council Meeting with each speaker limited to a period of two minutes. (see link to Public Forum Guidelines below).

If you ask a question during the Public Forum Session and wish to receive a written response, please complete the Public Forum Questions form (see link to Public Forum Questions form below) and hand the form to a Council staff member present at the meeting.  Questions from the Public Forum are also reported to the following month's Council Meeting under the section "Questions on Notice".
